KEIGETSU ISHII: Born in 1950 in Miyazaki, Japan, she has been a calligraphy teacher and creative artist since her twenties. Fascinated by the beauty of kanji and ancient characters while writing, she came across “The Keys to the Chinese Characters” by Shizuka Shirakawa, which showed that the characters represented people’s view of the universe, their spiritual life, and their connection with nature. She has exhibited in France in 2012, New York in 2018, and Greece in 2019, and also participated in World Art Dubai 2020.
