KIYOKO is also inspired by natural beauty in Japan, she often depicts the seasons and traditional festivals which take place each year.

KIYOKO MINAMI’s paintings are shaped and fashioned by what she truly loves.; Flowers and Human beings. She has survived her very hard time by painting every single day. Expressing her loving gratitude for flowers, which deeply connect with her parents and her children through painting was only the way for her to go forward. That is the reason why many people call her art “Healing art with a smile and relaxation.”

She has mastered the traditional Japanese painting method called ‘Ippitsuga (one brush stroke)’ and established her original art stream called “Delightful Flower Ippitsuga” in 1987. Since then, over 35 years, she has been conducting workshops, exhibitions in Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, Tokyo and abroad as well.
